The Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU), established by an Act of Parliament — the Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University Act, 2013 — is India's first Central University dedicated exclusively to Aviation and Allied Disciplines.
In accordance with its statutory mandate to promote teaching, training, research, and capacity-building in the aviation sector, the University has established the School of Engineering & Technology to offer specialized programmes in emerging domains of aviation, aerospace, and advanced technologies.
The school focuses on providing interdisciplinary knowledge integrating aviation science, operational practices, regulatory frameworks, and industry-oriented training. It aims to produce competent aviation professionals equipped with technical knowledge, safety awareness, and global perspective required for the rapidly expanding aviation sector.

Passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects with minimum 50% aggregate marks.
A relaxation of 5% marks shall be applicable for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, as per Government of India norms.
Maximum 21 years as on July 31, 2026.
Admission through CUET-UG. Final admission strictly based on merit, reservation policy, and eligibility criteria.

The University has engaged a qualified Counsellor (including dedicated support for female students) providing confidential support for academic stress, adjustment, interpersonal issues, psychological and aptitude mapping, and career guidance.
Career Development Cell under Senior Faculty facilitated career counselling, aptitude and soft skills training, industry interactions, internship facilitation, and placement assistance in collaboration with industry and government organisations.
RGNAU recognized for education loans by nationalized/private banks. Students may apply under the Vidya Lakshmi Portal or respective bank schemes. University provides bonafide and fee certificates.
RGNAU maintains zero tolerance towards ragging. Anti-Ragging Affidavit (student & parent) mandatory via www.antiragging.in or at reporting. Violations invite suspension, expulsion, or FIR.
