The Academic Council is the principal academic body of the University and have the power to exercise general supervision over the academic policies of the University and to give directions regarding methods of instructions, co-operative teaching, and evaluation of research or improvements of academic standards. It is responsible for maintaining of the standards of the educational activities within the university and advises the Executive Council on all academic matters:
